Have you had any luck with this? Just curious haven't seen you report back on whether or not this changed anything...

Well, the CPS signal runs through that. Finish it before getting off on any other rabbit trails.

But why would finishing that be the first priority? The CPS not getting a good reading should be.

Maybe because the CPS signal runs through the c101? Just sayin'.

Ok, I get that. But if the CPS is only putting out .204 AC volts, then how is the voltage going to get any higher if a bypass the C101?

It's not. But the signal from the CPS to the eCU will most likely improve.

Did you drill the Mopar CPS's upper mounting hole or was it done already?

Ok. I'll do it when I'm free next. I didn't want to drill it if I don't need to.

The Mopar CPSs used in the patch harness kit were slotted from the factory.

I didn't get the kit. I just got the CPS. The last two I got at NAPA I drilled and it didn't help at all.

You are testing probing only the two wires to the unplugged CPS, correct?

I'm not sure how much it matters, but its cranking OK? "brisk"

Yeah, just the two wires from the CPS. And it's cranking kinda slow because I think my battery is shot. I gotta jump it to crank it.

Ok, so let's say hypothetically that when I bypass the connector, it still won't start. Then what do I do? Start with the low CPS reading?

Yep. TSB 18-51-88 shows the CPS with the slotted hole that came in their kit. It was important to them to slot the upper mounting hole and bypass the C101 to rectify the issue.
