Is it cranking "briskly?' Is the CPS resistance 200 ohm's plus/minus 75? Are you using the correct bolts with the shoulder that holds it in the right place? Just some thoughts....

Yes, got the battery charged. Resistance is good. And I'm using the bolts that were there when I bought my Jeep.

Also the bolts. Just because it came with them doesn't mean they're right. Doesn't the CPS depend in that shoulder to end up positioned correctly?
It's never a bad idea to check the engine to bell housing bolts. Those being loose would cause alignment issues.

Ok. So I drilled and filed the hole, so now I'm getting a reading of around .7 AC volts. But, it still won't start. So, I'm going to make sure the .7 AC volts is making it to the ECU by measuring at the ECU connector. Then if it is, it's time for a new coil.

Idk, Maybe C1 and D1, engine speed? Maybe see if the wire color codes for those two match at the harness side of the CPS plug.
You might check this out. I started to try LED bulbs from $ Store flashlights but didn't follow through. Btw they only work one way. >>
