HELP is this right?
I have an 89 Cherokee 4x4 4.0l and my engine is dumping oil in my air filter. So what I am going to do is replace both of the grommet pieces on top of the valve cover as they may be the source to the problem.. Please tell me if this is the front or back?
If you go to rockauto.com and type in the item # it will show you a picture. Also if this is the back then what part is the front? Or should I just replace the back? I am going to replace the valve cover gasket as well so i want to replace both so I should be good for awhile and not have to open her back up. Also in that list there is something that is labeled PCV Valve Grommet Part # 42088. I just want to know if these are both of the pieces I need.

I've checked mine before and it's only an adapter from the valve cover to the air-box. If it's only a little bit of oil then I don't think you have much of a problem.

My air filter covered top to bottom haha. Its pretty much dripping. And I just bought this cherokee and want to replace a few things to try and get it to 300k before I see a rebuild as there is no knocking! at 200k.
