I'm guessing that's your front lighting wires for everything in that bundle?

To explain colours from the 93 FSM:
Red/Orange - Hi or Lo beam (Not sure which is which)
Violet/White - Hi or Lo beam
Dark Blue/Red - Side marker feed
Light Green - Left indicator (Light green is on the wiring diagram, can't see that in your picture)
Black - Ground
Tan - Right indicator
Light Green/Black - Front fog if fitted

What is/isn't working or what are your intentions?

Looks like someone extended or repaired the wiring? I'm not sure why you have the extra loose blue/red wire, but I'd bet it pulled out from one of the crimps of the same color wire. Whoever did those crimps used the wrong size and didn't crimp them correctly anyway.
