Herculining The Interior
I did not want to highjack the other thread abour carpet.
I took my carpet out and I have a lot of heat coming off the exhaust from underneath the passenger side. It is super hot(like it melts plastic things). What did you guys do to combat the heat? Will the Herculiner release fumes when it gets hot, or is it safe to just do it? Is there a type of sheild that I could put over it?

I run with no carpet and a Hurculined floor, and the flood does get hot, but not hot enough to melt any thing. The herculiner ounce it has dried has no fumes, and I got some cheep Home Depot carpet and cut some sections to fit in the right and left foot wells, this helps to disipate the heat alot. I've been looking around, and WJ's have a good sized, milti-layer heat shield that mounts above the muffler, I was going to get a hold of one of these so I could cut it to fit my application to give me a little more heat deflection.
