Herucliner questions
Couple of questions about Herucliner, i've searched on here for these answer's but its inconclusive, so here goes:
1. If I Herucline and dont put carpet back in will my shoe soles melt to the floor?
2. What if I Herucline and put carpet back in, aftermarket rubber floor mats, the stock floormats?
3. Will there be an increase in heat inside the cab, with out the carpet?
I'm planning on doing this to the inside of a '98 Cherokee xj.

I only herculined the cargo area of my car so I'm not sure about the heat inside the cabin...still a few holes left for ventilation lol. As far as the soles of your shoes melting....really? It's just truck bed liner, so pretty much anything that you would put in the back of a truck would be fine, including shoes. As for the rubber floor mats I think it would just be a matter of opinion. I put about 5 coats on and it added some thickness to the floor but I dont think that anything that you put on top of it will hurt it, if thats what you are concerned about. It's super cool, I'm really glad that I did it to my truck, I left the carpet out and it looks really good. If you want to see some pics just look up other posts by me and it should be somewhere in there. Good luck! Buy some rubber gloves to wear too, it gets pretty messy, and that stuff takes days to come off, trust me.

I did the entire inside of mine and it gets a little hotter in the summer and a little colder in the winter. Also, it will be louder inside the jeep. you will hear the tires more and every little noise will be louder. Your shoes will not melt to the bottem. I have my stock floor mats in mine and they work fine. any more questions, just let me know.
