Default High Oil Pressure & Oil Smells Like Fuel?! Need Advice.

I have a 2000 XJ Classic 4.0 with 174,000 miles.

This morning on the way to work is was cold out but the oil pressure was sitting at 40, right where it always sits. I'm in the military in VA and due to construction I had to take the highway today instead of the back roads to work. After work when I got in the jeep it was hard to start and hesitant, but started up. I proceeded to the highway and when I accelerated on the on ramp I noticed my oil pressure was at 80. When I got home and checked under the hood No FRESH leaks except for some oil running down the oil pan. The oil level was fine on the dip stick but the oil was thin and smelled like gas/oil mix you'd put in a chain saw.

I'm going to change the oil ASAP and see if the alleviates the pressure/ gas smell problem, probably not, but is there anything else I should look at or be concerned with?

You might have a worn engine with ring blowby.

That's what I'm leaning to, I'm just hoping it may be a stuck injector.

Hole or crack in a piston, ring(s)?..... compression check time. Stuck injector may cause a dead or missfire with that much fuel.
