New rebuild great pressure ,but at 6800 miles the lifters and cam were shot.Put it back together a second time, checked oil flow, which was at 40 cold and 35ish warmed up, but now the lifters are making noise again.

Or there's this one, which purports to be a Mopar product.

Jeksdad, you should probably start a new thread instead of piggybacking on an old (2½ years old) thread, you'll probably get more responses.

But I should probably update anyway... After replacing my oil pump with a high volume one, oil pressure increased by about 50% across the entire rpm range, and 2½ years and quite a few miles later, it's still running strong and I've had no further problems with it. So definitely worthwhile.

 

 

I put one in my 01 with no fit problems and runs good . I have built engines all my life collage for auto machine run a machine shop for 7+ years and built race engines in my home shop for many many years and Melling High vol. pumps were always used on a wet sump engine that I built! Yes there are people out there that will tell you different but for me its will always be a Melling high vol.
