You have to be careful with things like that. About the time this comes to mind when dealing with a customer is when you also find out that his application to work in the Walmart automotive dept with you was just approved. Lol
One time I thought that about a dimwit customer and it turned out he was my manager at a different new job I started the following week. What's the chances of that happening? Lol

I used a star wrench today instead of an air-impact and still got the wheel off, brakes inspected (just one side) and wheel back on in five minutes flat. Torqued to one-grunt amount and GTG.

I've never been so frustrated in all my life. The thing is stuck badly. The can is crumpled, with holes in it, the screwdriver trick didn't work...I don't know what else to do.
Any ideas?
If nothing else, i guess i'm towing it to the shop on monday...

I just went through this a while back. Bent an oil filter wrench, destrued the filter with a screw driver etc. one mistake I made was not running the engine first. The heat would have helped. Finally got it by using a hammer and chisel and turning it by banging on it on the edge with the seal. Ended up turning the filter adapter some in the process. Enough that the new filter wouldn’t go on because it was hitting the block.
Then I tried everything to remove the adapter and no luck there. Finally I just tapped the adapter back the opposite way with a hammer. I thought for sure it was just going to leak but not a drop. Needless to say I’ll no longer be snugging up my filters with a wrench.
