Hood alignment issues

Hood alignment issues
Ok so I'm watching fireworks I start overheating a little pop hood latch forget and drive down road at 35 mph hood flies up luckily a few dings to my hood but that's it it wouldNt open up so I go to the jy buy 2 hinges and only one original looks bent so I replace it no the hood opens but won't close it's off on the sides from latch about 1/4 in and it's raised higher on the passenger side what am I doing wrong any help would be great I hate driving my baby Honda crv around I want my HEEP back together

Normally I would mark them, Before removing them. So the new brackets are put back into the same place. Loosen bolts so they are just snug, carefully shutting hood, move the hood over until lined up. Carefully lift the hood enough to tighten bolts up. After rechecking position, finish tightening them. JMO!

I got it fixed man thanks for the help the driver side hinge was bent too but I replaced put lots of shims now I have a mini cowl hood haha thanks man big help
