Was it really necessary to take off your pants to paint the hood? Who taught you that technique?

Looks good man. I may have to invest in a set of those. Looks like they would remove quite a bit of heat with the large openings.

Yes they let out alot of heat with the zipper down....

I learned the hard way when painting my hood on my TJ. I did a "ace ventura" spray and got it all over the hood. Damn rattle cans are hard to predict the exact spray spot. Luckily it was yellow and matched the hood but wasn't the exact same color. The pants are there to prevent that from happening again

This might take a while to reply back but how are you going do the snorkel like the one on the H1's because that would absolutly sick!! If you end up doing it show some pictures because im really interested in doing this if it is not impossible. Also, where did you get the 2 caps that you showed in the picture?

Those two caps were from home depot. One is a 4" pvc cap and another is 6" cap. I am going to try to attempt the H1 snorkel setup but no promises. It seems rather difficult to do so i have to check out a few more things under the hood before i attempt it.

This thread is Great Mudd once you are done if you could put it in write up style format. That way we can focus on the work and not all the comments.
