I like mine working as designed. You DO have the option to lock the vac disco axle. (Really, it's fine. Later models are made that way)...>>(solid axle)

The vacuum routing is in my signature. Of course you will need linkage to the transfer case.

There are more than a few here that can help you with those pics. There are vac diagrams in my signature, and a link to Cruisers good stuff.

I think both my tranny mount and my left motor mount are shot. Because it sits different the linkage to the transfer case comes out a little wrong. I'd be sure the works is in the right place, before adjusting the linkage.

I am not familiar with the term "autometer" , or "narrow" or "wide", that you mentioned in your PM. A digital multimeter would have different scales. If you were attempting to check a renix 02 sensor you would want a scale that included 1 to 5 volts DC, (the 20 V DC scale on mine)

Here is a somewhat messed up thread on the subject. Right at the beginning is a link to another thread with good info. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/ren...ce-rms-133153/

I'm sorry. This is what I meant the autometer air/fuel ratio but it runs by the o2 sensor narrow that's what I been told

I'm OK with just ignoring what you have been told. I don't mean to disrespect anyone, but real, known facts, and real info is what matters to me.

It wouldn't be crazy to assume that is a vacuum gauge with no needle. If that were the case it would have just one tube that connects to the intake manifold.

Electronic? Then it might have wires, besides the one vacuum line.
