lol I guess all these automatic owners assume theirs is "standard" :P

I agree with the fluid change. AX-15 should take a synchromesh-specific lube (Pennzoil, Castrol, and ACDelco make them) or if you're a big spender some Redline MT-90. Don't use API GL-5 gear oil, and don't use motor oil.

Also, you sure it's not the catalytic converter? It's right beside the transmission. Also with a worn bearing you should notice grinding or abnormal whining sounds and maybe some slack in that gear. Might sound like a "wobble" lol

Definitely no grinding. Everything feels good. I guess ill try a new fluid.
