How to adjust door latch?
Someone tried to break into my jeep by prying the door open. They didn't succeed do to my alarm (thank you Viper). But anyways now my passenger door will not stay fully shut. What I mean by that is if you shut the door, it latches but then you can pull on the door and it pops out about 1/4-1/2 inch, but it's still latched. How can I correct this so it no longer pops out like that? Do I need to replace the lock/latch in the door or can the latch thing that it latches to on the frame be adjusted? I'm no body work guy so I have no idea how I would go about fixing this. Thanks for any help that can be provided!!!

My guess would be the one in the door, but like I said, I cant say without seeing it.
Look at the post on both door frames, does the one on the passenger side look different (i.e. bent)?
Damage to the mechanics on the latch mechanism (on the door) wouldn't be obvious on a visual inspection, so if the post looks normal, its probably the latch.
The passenger side and drivers side latches are not the same and not interchangeable.
