How big of a problem is this?
So I recently bought a bone stock 1990 jeep xj from a buddy to help him out. I only spent 500 to buy the jeep. I figured since i got it that cheap i had plenty of room to fix it up. It runs great and the interior is in excellent shape. Anyways the outside is loaded with rust. Mainly on the doors and quarter panels. How easy would this be to fix? is it worth keeping or no?

the doors can be replaced if needed or repaired. the quarter panels can be fixed. the main thing is it depends on you own personal skill level with welding and sheet metal forming. Post up some pics if you can so we can see what you see. I would also look at the underside of the jeep as well. if there is a lot of visible rust there may be just as much or more that is not visible. Take a look under the front carpet.

Well I can weld and my brother is a sheet metal fabricator so I should be good there. And I will post pics as soon as possible. And under the carpet upfront on the passenger side the corner of the floor is rusted out.
