Well I guess now is the time to take care of that. I would suggest that you get all your lifting done and then figure it out. email me and I can give you some help figuring out what you need.

Default axle wrap sucks

don't use blocks in the back if you want anything more then looks. blocks will make it higher but make you extremely prone to axle wrap and wheel hop.

It sounds like you might not have the right length of shocks now. Shock bushings should last a long time. On of the things that knocks them out is if the shock is bottoming out or getting fully extended under pressure.

Ya i'm not for sure on the shocks they came with the lift so i would think they are the right size and they have only been on since dec and wore out a set of upper bushings i don't like them so hopefully soon i get mounts welded up for the rears and install 4 new shocks

If it is set up correctly, any amount in theory.

I was told if after 4.5 inches of lift the the shocks that came in my kit were going to run out of travel?

I can't vouch for kits. Too many to keep track of. I can however with a set of bar pin eliminators install shocks up to 30" long with 14 inches of travel. That should just about cover it. The shocks I currently have on my front are 27" long

I have 33x12.5's on 4.5 suspension.
High C.O.G. scares me.
If you fully flex your suspension your tires will still rub without extended bumpstops.
