or if you dont want to find an axle shaft (which is the best way for long term) you can always keep the disconect and run a cable to acuate it manually. like this http://www.4x4posi-lok.com/app_jeep.html

also make sure your rear axle in the 93 has the same gears as the front or you will need to swap the rear axle too....

The Dana 30 CAD axle has a two piece passenger-side axle-shaft (see the pictures in the thread above). The Vacuum system (CAD) works by sliding a coupler over the joined ends of the front passenger-side axle-shaft and the central axle-shaft, effectively making it a solid axle. This locks the front end and causes the front driveshaft to spin with the axle. With the front end locked then transfer case can then be engaged and drive the front axle.

The Posi-lock system is basically overrides what the vacuum system accomplishes by using a steel braided cable fished through the firewall to under the dash, similar in function to a choke cable. When you pull the cable it manually slides the coupler over the connecting ends of the passenger side axle-shaft and the central axle-shaft engaging your front end, and with the TC engaged, 4wd.
