make sure the vacuum line for regulator is very secure, for if the regulator diaphragm fails, full fuel pressure will be present on the vacuum side, which means fuel can shoot out the vacuum hose, thus secure that hose at both ends well. fuel shot into the intake may stall the motor, fuel shot through a vacuum hose that has blown off may spray fuel into the engine bay, kaboom!

I haven't done the carb cleaner yet, but all 6 of the 88s tested good @ 10 ohms on my cheap analog meter.
