How do you disconnect this battery tray wire harness ?
This is not an active project, as I gave up and punted to the dealership.
But, before I aborted my alternator attempt, I came across this connector under the battery tray.
You can see it at 45 seconds, but it falls apart in her hands.
it's obvious from the jump cut that her father staged this for the video,
and already took it apart.
I spent almost 30 minutes trying to take this apart, and didn't make a dent in figuring it out.
Anyone have any detailed instructions and photos that explains what to press and how it comes apart ?

It's too bad you can't put mods on their ignore list.
Rust has nothing to do with detaching bizarre Chrysler connectors under the hood.
Does anyone actually knows how to detach this connector ?
Might be helpful for someone in the future.

As far as the connector is concerned, lift or press the locking tab, and pull apart. I know that would probably take Bimmer a week, and 2 trips to a mechanic, but I'm confident anyone else here could do it in seconds
