how do you torque rocker arms
i changed my lifters over the weekend and got it all back together but i can figure out how o properly torque the rocker arms. the good ol haynes book says to put the number 1 cylinder at tdc and torque to 19 lbs well that leaves some loose and some tight can someone tell me how to torque em all correctly

Torque the pivot screws to 19-21 pound-feet.
Turn the crank to put the next cylinder at firing position.
Repeat for six cylinders.
Before you put the valve cover on, it's not a bad idea to pour a little bit of clean oil into the "bowl" of the rocker arm to help prelube the pivot (I'll put engine assembly lube on the pivots as I put them in, but the extra bit of oiling will also help. Dry starts are a Bad Thing(tm) and should be avoided.)
