Also if I remember hm m1 is actually a higher blend of "dino oil" than regular because it suspends the additive package better, in am engine with loose tolerances that is important

Does it really matter they market a full synth? No not really, it works and keep your oil changes with the top 3 and it will work the way you want it, dino oil worked for decades, it will still work blended,

I hate snake oil. No need for it.
I use a mopar filter and 5w-30 rotella syn. All avialible at walmart and probably cheaper than Napa's dino oil. You need a decent phosphorus/zinc content as well, I don't know offhand what Napa's house brand oil has.
If your lifters are noisy check how tight they are. They should be at 19ft/lb , IIRC.
