Had a 2001 limited that ran excellent with 206k. Sold it and the head blew 2 months later. I felt something awful until I realized it was a common problem.

Have a 2dr 2000. has 279,000 km. I think that's about 176K mile.
Only issue was a new rad about 2 months after I got it. got it fixed before an overheat. Now trying to trace down an occasional P0306.

2000 xj -139,000miles no coolant issues,stays right under 210 when warmed up in the winter and 210 or 211 in the summer with A/C full blast.
