How much bigger can I go on my tires?
I have a stock Cherokee country 1996 with stock rims and the tire size is 2/35/75 R 15
i was wondering how much bigger I could go without having to get a lift, spacers, etc. and I also would like to keep my stock rims or if anyone has cheep rim suggestions that’d be great!

You can put a larger tire on the current rim, but I would stick with the current size.

235's on stock rims are about it. Any wider tire and you'd hit the lower control arms. My 235's on stock rims would even hit under certain circumstances. Change rims for larger tires to eliminate that issue and you still have to contend with hitting the flares and fenders. My '96 has 2" of lift and I'd not go larger than a 235.
