Wow, funny you asked this question. I just sold a 95 4runner that i owned and worked on for about 6 months. I just bought a 93 cherokee 3 days ago. So..... I can say this the runner i had was a total nightmare i worked on it constantly and maybe drove it 5 times, 2 of which were to and from the mechanic for a blown head gasket ( to the tune of $900 )!!! Im not bashing but i will never buy another 4runner no way, do your research well. Dont wanna get anyone po'd this is just my .02, but i think 4runners are junk.

 

Oh yeah, just google "4runner headgasket" before you buy, not after like me and get ready to do some reading.
