Hp question....
i looked it up and my jeep has 190 hp @ 4600 RPM
well the 2010 wrangler rubicon has 202 hp @ 5200 RPM
its a 600 RPM difference....
which has more my xj or the wrangler?
Also.....
my jeep has 225 @ 3000 RPM torque
wrangler 237 @ 4000 RPM torque
which has more?

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Torque wins races, horsepower sells cars. The 4.0 has more torque lower in the RPM range than the caravan Wrangler engine.

the wrangler does have more hp. But for wheeling tq is what you want. The wrangler has decent tq but its in the high end of the rpm range. For wheeling you want low end tq and hp. A v6 can NEVER match the I6 in low end hp and tq
