My 98 has the cable actuated hot/cold temp selector for the vent door. It looks like I also have an electrical connection behind the HVAC control panel for an electric option and have seen control panels at the salvage yard for same series xj's with the electrically actuated control. Has anyone done a swap on this that can let me know if converting to the electrically controlled vent door is feasible and what other parts I may need other than the panel, the wiring harness (which appears to already be in place) and possibly the electric vent door motor. Next time I am out there, I am looking at seeing if I can pull that. I really hate that stiff cable that gets in the way of everything behind my dash.
