If you didn't have your battery tested and you are basing that off just the gauge alone, it could still be the problem. Not going to guarantee it is your problem, just want to make sure every possibility is eliminated properly.

Water in the fuel?
A can of dry gas is cheap enough.
If you changed the filter, fuel pump and screen on Friday and the problem started Saturday, you might want to go back under there and have another look.
I know every body is convinced it's an electrical problem, but it sounds like fuel to me.
Grab a can of starting fluid when you're picking up the dry gas and the next time it fails, shoot a little into the throttle body.
If it starts up and dies, its definitely a fuel problem

My fathers 5 spd mustang use to do that but we replaced the fuel pump or injectors and it was fine, I forgot which one it was so long ago but I would check the injectors if you already checked the fuel pump... Good Luck, Rob

I had the same problem, it ended up being my computer. Next time it dies try popping the hood and smacking the computer, do it with the key on if this is it you should hear the fuel pump pressurize up. I found a good deal on a computer at engine computer exchange.com
