I FEEL Bad
i feel bad today on my way home from work i had to ditch myself to avoid an out of control car in snow. in the ditch i put it in 4wd to get out i got to the front half in the road and back half in the ditch. my question is i really beat it for about 2 min to get it out... did i **** up my jeep doing it?

dont know, these things take alot of abuse. like today on my way to school, i had it in 4hi on the road cause the roads were covered in snow and it popped out of 4WD at like 35mph and the tcase made the worst gear grinding noise ive ever heard. still drives fine and 4WD still works fine. i cant tell you if you did mess it up or not but when ive gone muddin, sometimes ive really taken it further than i planned and it always comes through for me.

What you were doing is called sawing. You do it when you need more traction from the front end, and your Jeep is fine. It was built for that kinda stuff!! BTW, I bet you got out, huh?? Jeeps rule!!!

I seriously doubt anything happened to it. it was wet, slippery. you couldn't get good enough contact to bust an axleshaft anyways, and if there are no wierd/new noises, then you're gonna be just fine.
remember, there are those of us who beat the absolute **** out of these things, and like a cheap french hooker they always come back for more.
