I don't doubt your credibility or anything, I've just heard such an overwhelming response (not just from this thread) about the adverse effects of moisture in the system that I am more inclined to evacuate it. Could you point me to articles or anything of that sort that point towards your opinion? I'd like to be as educated as possible in making my decision. Thanks
Probably should have mentioned I used the tools... I HATE that style of line though.

well since its not the accepted method i dont think im going to find much in my favor im just telling you that its been done many times by many people. however youre right my implying that you do it the wrong way is irresponsible,kinda like the guy on here that suggested testing a bad fan clutch by attempting to stop the running fan with youre hands.so in the sprit of fair play...carry on
