go to http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/stroker.html I built the low buck stroker "rockcrawler" I haven't made it to a dyno but it feels like 300hp even though the machine shop said 250 neighborhood. I say do what you want, if you want a turbo make up a thread.

v8 swaps are common, just not easy because of limited space. not cheap either, plus you have to figure out what tranny, and transfer case to use...

turbo will work, just expect to put about 3 grand into parts alone, and you better know what you are doing.

strokers...expensive to buy...not cheap to build.

whats your current tire size and gear ratio, how much more power you looking to get? a few simpler mods will net you some power...

i had this setup on 33's and 4.56 gears:

flowmaster exhaust, 63mm bored throttle body, aftermarket intake, dual electric fans (aka mechanical fan delete), and it made quite a difference. i could easily spin my 33's on dry pavement (i had an 8.8...no worries )

i agree with that, but i have a turbo sitting in my garage and free is always good
as for the 3k in parts you can do it for less if you know how to build things yourself

also are there specific year mustangs i should get the injectors off of?

Those cheap turbo's are usually bonded together with some kind of epoxy. They will literally blow apart in the first mile or the first time they see boost. There's a reason a good turbo kit costs what it does.

Whoa! That's pretty cool. Seems like alot of work though, does anyone make kits? To lazy to search and I have to leave for work. I'd love to have two supercharged vehicles. Curious as to why he has a BOV though. With an Eaton blower like that it should have a bypass valve (checked build thread and it does) to regulate boost pressure. Funny he also put an underdrive pulley on which with a supercharger actually lowers boost levels.

This is what you need (beware, tons of pics). Coincidentally, it is also what I want very badly.

I am wanting piece together a turbo system using this (same dude) as the starting point.
