I have a question...
I just got my jeep about a week ago. it has a Rough Country 5" lift in front and a 6" lift in back with 31 x 10.50 R15 tires. today i noticed the sway bar was rubbing again the spring and the front tires are tilted inward alittle.
a friend of mine told me to get Extended Sway Bar links... would that fix the problem? or does it sound like it just needs an alignment?
any help or info will be nice.

Your front tires should not be tilted inward. That is why they are rubbing on the sway bar. The tie rod ends need to be adjusted to set the toe right. Those tires should be facing straight ahead when not turned by the steering wheel. Loosen the clamps on the tie rod ends and turn the tie rod until you can measure tire center to tire center on the front side and rear side of the front tires. with a tape measure and it is equal distance.

Oh, I gotcha. He has more coil spring or spacer than he has Control arm length, for. Hopefully his lift came with adjustable control arms. That's the only way to fix that problem...or get shorter springs or remove the spacers.

Sounds more like too much neg camber if that the case check your hub bearings mine were just about touching my springs when they went bad and I actually tried to do an alignment with them that way it drives much better with my new ones.

I didn't think cambor was adjustable on XJs. Either your balljoints are good or they're bad.

Negative camber can also be caused by worn hub bearings, too much toe in or out, a bent housing or steering knuckle. I've seen them all cause too much negative camber. Camber can be adjusted with off set ball joints.
