Good luck on the negotiation...Always bring a mechanical lead dispenser when carrying that much cash (If you aren't already of that mindset).

I always look at a car from the perspective that the body is the 1st item that has to be good. Engines and suspension etc can be repaired OK, but a bad body will only get worse, and worse, and never be better, and....well, you know

OP did you end up buying it? Kijiji ad's down so I can't see this alleged Alberta rust-free Jeep.
Especially on an XJ, which can be defined as "a bunch of replaceable parts on a nonserviceable unitized chassis" 
Sure we are. But the ones we're stuck with are kinda alward...
