So my jeep will every once and a while just die no ignition lights or anything.
it will randomly do it and at the worst times.

I had this happen to my passat awhile back. It turned out to be a bad fuel pump. I know they aren't the same, but it is just a thought.

You got an alarm on it? My s-10 did what your saying and it turned out the alarm was old and burned it self out and locked the ignition off and a number of other things didnt work as well. I had the alarm removed and it worked like new.

same problem on my 88 back in the day, it was the ignition switch, it sits on top of the steering column. it could also be corroded battery terminals, or a bad ground. i would clean the battery first and see if that works. then check all your grounds, especially the main one that the battery negative cable goes to behind the distributor on the passenger side of the block. make sure that is good, clean and well bolted down

Excellent advice here. This work needs to be done as a matter of course anyway.

Wouldn't hurt to check the connection at your starter either.
