I think I found my #3 misfire problem.

Hi! I’m new here but I’ve been using this forum for a few years getting to know my Cherokee. My check engine light has been coming on for about 6mo. When I check the codes it’s always the #3 misfire so I reset it and it goes away for a couple months. The missing had started getting bad last week so I decided to do some investigating. Up until then it had really run well. Here’s what I found. Kind of embarrassing. This jeep has been so bulletproof since we got it in 2014, I had no reason to suspect we had a problem. Anyway, thanks for a great forum!

Lots to be said for routine maintenance.

Plugs, wires, cap and rotor every 30,000 miles on a 4.0.
