And just to stay on topic, I've heard the valve cover isn't even necessary, removing it helps lubricate all engine components.

Oh your engine block cracked? no worries i have an extra roll of scotch tape to fix that! oh no no no. You dont need a valve cover. I just put some cardboard over mine and sprayed some sprayable duct tape on there!
