Hay guys going Friday to look at the jeep an was wondering if anything I need to look for in it or on it that's typically broke on these they would easily be overlooked I'm pretty car /truck /suv savvy but this will be my first jeep

Check inside airbox for oil. It'll be there. All these renixes have blowby. Just make sure it's not crazy bad. Try to look at steering components. Make sure there's not too much play. Helps to have a second person steer it back and forth while looking at tie rods and track bar etc. try to get it up to 55mph to check for bad wobble in that same regard. Check oil obviously. Check for rust obviously. While running maybe take the oil fill cap off and check for real bad smoking. Some is normal for these.
