Default Idle air control gasket?

Hi, I own a 1996 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 liter I6. If I take off the idle air control sensor and clean it, then put it back on, will I have to get a gasket? Or do they not use gaskets? Thanks!!

I do not believe there is one. there's isn't on my 99. I think the only actual gasket on the TB assembly is an actual TB gasket if you take the whole thing off that goes between the TB and the intake manifold. Hope that helps.

No gasket for the idle air controller (not a sensor by the way - though commonly referred to as one). Good luck!

They use an o-ring. Aleast my 97 does. Bought 2 Mopar, and both had an o-ring. The old IAC had one as well.
