Default idled up more than usual

hey guys, usually my jeep idles at 500-600 consistently on the rpm guage, today when i left the college its been idling at 1000 all the way home, sometimes at 1200 rpms. i noticed because i was having to brake alot harder, even when i put it in neutral it stays reved up. Now i put on a 63mm t-body from leighs throttle bodies 2 weeks ago and its been working awesome. I dont know if that has anything to do with it. maybe the tps is dirty and i need to take it out and clean it? i also noticed when i give it gas in neutral above 2k rpms and let off it will go back to idling normal but when i put it back in drive and go a couple feet it will go back to the high idling.....
Any suggestions as to what that is?

Thanks guys

You may have a vacuum leak at or around the brake booster.

mine also did the same thing and it ended up being a hole in the vacuum canister that is located just behind the front bumper on the passenger side. you can spray some carb cleaner around to see if the idle shoots up higher. just be careful not to spray it on the exhaust manifold or anything else hot.
