Trouble is, I live out in the middle of effing nowhere and I don't have a car. I manage to get a ride to and from work everyday, but I can't get a ride to a junkyard to find the injectors.

Default OUCH!!

lol well ok I did exactly what you said with pulling the wires from the distributor and first one I pulled nothing changed, second one I pulled ZAP! **son of a B**** ** and yes I was using electircian pliers. lol so I was done doing that. but the 2 that I did pull (the ones from cyl 1 & 5 nothing changed) I didnt pull any others due to the fact that I had one hell of a headach after hitting my head on the hood of the jeep after getting zapped. hahah Im all good though. but yea any other ideas? some would say Im a wimp but I say " I dont wanna get f***in zapped again"lol

Yeah, it doesn't feel too good. Happened to me when I was checking my old Caprice hearse to see if it was missing on a cylinder.

Not to mention the time's I've been electrocuted by household wiring.

pull the starter out, bring it to advance and have them do a bench test. make sure the person who tests it tho knows what theyre doing and knows how to read the meter thats showing the amps from the starter..
