Ignition Key Electrical Issues
So i just bought a 1989 XJ. Jeep runs great with about 160k. The problem is if i i don't have the key in the perfect position i have no radio, turn signals, windshield wipers etc. If you fiddle with the position of the key sometimes everything will just start working again, hit a bump and you loose everything again. Gotta be something in the column i would imagine. Anyone steer me in the correct direction? I wanna drive this thing to work now that i put my Comanche to bed for the winter.

it is possible the switch itself on the lower colum needs to be adjusted,it has two screws that hold it,it can be moved either direction to adjust. It is easier to get to if you lower the colum down,it is held by two 15mm nuts.
