A little plastic explosive works well in these cases.

So.. update on my new jeep.. I'm about to sell it ha ha its sad how the older ones are more reliable and run better/ easier than these new computer controlled ones.. anyways maybe you guys can help.. it had a check engine light. He said it was the tps.. I believed him. So I checked the code to double check and it had 3 no signals (battery problems) and a cylinder 6 misfire... F'ng sweet! The no signals were a loose battery terminal so that was easy.. I figured the plugs needed to be changed so I changed those (the old ones were rusted and black. Maybe 2 or 3 years old. Couldn't believe my eyes), threw the new platinum autolites in and it runs WORSE!! I'm stumped guys. I have a coil rail. No distributor. I dunno where to start..

Cracked head around #6 cylinder area.

Rusty/black plugs mean coolant in combustion chambers.

How can I visually check the head? Because there are no noticable leaks from anywhere. And the rust was external. Not major rust just an Orange color.

Or check for combustion gasses in the coolant. I think there is a litmus-paper type kit for this.

come to terms with the fact that you STILL will not have cupholders

Lots of people have reported this. The 4.0L likes copper plugs only - NKG RC12ECC for the DIS system. Make sure the gap is 0.035". Don't rely on it being correct out of the box - it rarely is.

I got cup holders in the 2000 and my 89 but the copper plugs hint is good to know.. you really think that's what it is? Why would it only misfire cylinder 6? And not the rest?

could be - or perhaps the coil pack is bad.

But then 5 and 6 would misfire because its the same coil for the two of them..

And the old ones were autolites too.
