in the sand?? lotsa shifting, and slipping, It'll make a lot of HEAT!! No bueno for engine or tranny.. It'll be fine if you just cruise it. but if your really Duning it, you will want the 5 speed.

No, but he has a choice weather or not to dune it! he hasn't even responded yet with what he has.

if it's a 5 speed, I'd say bomb it through the dunes.. seen it done with a 3" lift 30 9.50 on stock rims and 12 lbs in the tires My buddy's been mobbing it all season with no problem in Glamis. having to run hard to stay with him in my dune buggy

Watch the water holes they get deep and i mean deep. As stated don't turn around on the dunes just slowly back down the hill if you don't make it. Stock jeeps can make it up test hill you just got to give it alot of gas. The dunes are always changing so watch the peaks on the hills and when you almost make it to the top let off and just coast the rest of the way up don't stay in the gas all the way up you will jump it.

when I was there it wasnt crowded so everyone just watched as one guy went and then waited for another to go.

i honestly dont remember how steep the test hill was, but if you got some speed still going you can turn around, but as mentioned make sure noone is around you. noone i saw had a problem rolling down the hill when they turned around.
