THe wrong way will result in 2 non firing cyls.If you un plugged the second injector and it made a difference you had it correct the first time.

sorry to confuse you bud... i only thought you might have switched up your connectors because i didnt know you had checked them both (1 and 2)... if you unplug number 2 like freegdr said.. and noticed a change.. then you had it right.. i was just curious why our wiring was slightly different... i didnt mean that you were wrong!

i really think you should try tapping that injector like freedgr said.. it sounds like its stuck/faulty... you pretty much had it narrowed down when you have spark.. and no change with disconnecting #1... just wanted to make sure..

i didn't mean to over complicate this for you..

Swap one of the stock ones that you know were working in its place and see how it runs. Should be mostly smooth if they are all pulsing when they should, and the rail has proper pressure.

is there a way to test if the injector pulses? Like attaching it to a 12 v source and listening for the click?

the right tool is called a noid light... you can rent them at auto parts stores

this article has some pictures and kind of explains the process

There is no multimeter setting that can do the same thing as a noid light?
