Autozone and Advanced Auto are about 12 miles away, kinda hard to get there with a jeep thats not legal lol.. I didnt even think about those stores cause I never go there. Walmart is about 8 miles from my house, on the opposite side of town as the auto stores... I will have to have my girlfriend take me there when I get some money..

ZachsXJ, yeah, after looking at this ..it may be a good idea to pull and check what's up with the pump.
Now, how about a photo of the inside of a gas tank? That may be a pretty view out there....
As for what brand filter to pick. Good question. I personally have no clue.. Maybe somebody has some input on that.
Buy on-line if there's no store in your area. I personally like to go and pick the part , as I usually have no patience to wait.
I went to NAPA. They had two to choose from a "SelectPro" and "Gold" - both got cool names. I've got the Gold one ...just because. It had better glossy paint ..heh heh ... , I only can fantasise, that it must have better paper or something , it must have something better

ah cool I was hoping it was the inline filter. I know some vehicles have one inside the stupid tank so you have to run most of the gas out and drop the tank to get to it.
Thanks for the info!

I've dropped the tank out of my XJ before, its not hard. I had about 6 gallons of gas in it at the time. I just dropped it out of the Jeep, and took the gas out once it was out of the Jeep and then just strapped it back up in there.

Personally I trust Napa and would go with them and buy the "Gold" filter. Worst case its just the same as a regular filter and you spent $5 extra for nothing, but most likely its a better filter.
