looks like in-line fuel filter for XJ may become a hard to find item for a while.

What are you talking about? Ahah. I'm sure there are enough in stock around the country that you should be able to hunt one down. It might be chinese crap, but then again what isn't nowadays?

Huh!. I 'm cheap 24/7/365 . If I wasn't, then all I'd do - setup appointments and have no "fun" in life.

I am not cheep per se, just broke all the time lol. I swear I feel like I am spending all my money "restoring" the Jeep and will never get to the fun modding stuff.

Yeah, I still need to get un-cheap and get around to flushing my coolant system along with changing my transmission, transfercase, rear diff and brake fluids.

hah hah

speaking of the devil and where things are made, I looked at the NAPA's Gold filter as I was making shure which end is IN which is OUT ...and there's lable there: "Made In Israel". I haven't ever seen anything of that nature "made in Israel". Must be rare.
I bought a Huge Chinese C-Clamp the same day there, btw ...heh heh
...Oh! and NAPA's "top-gun"(the best off the shelf, that is) grease gun also Made In China, works fine so far

I know for a fact that mine won't pass inspection. I UBER cheated and bought an inspection sticker off a buddy of mine to hold me over while I get the Jeep to an inspectable point.

Mine will pass its just a matter of having time and money at the same time.

Here they don't use stickers anymore its all electronic. It is attached to your licence plate info. So if a cop pulls you over he runs your tags and can tell if you are inspected or not.

I am just glad I don't live in a place that does emissions testing.
