Default Instrument Cluster Light Color Change...???

As this is just my 2nd post, I am curious on the lights that illuminate the instrument cluster panel. I drive a 1992 Jeep Cherokee and it has standard clear lights that illuminate speedometer, odometer, oil gauge, fuel, etc. I was wondering if it is possible to replace these bulbs with a different color such as red or blue?? I know how to get to the bulbs, I am just wondering if they make different colors of the same bulb and where I can get them if they do...: ) Any help would be awesome!!

If you get different color bulbs that are equivalent specs to your stockers as far as voltage/current etc then you should be able to just swap them.

Unfortunately they don't have this for the 00-01. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/i690-...#ht_2724wt_999

Nevermind. I found it for all you 00-01 XJ owners.

Has anyone installed this and if so how difficult was it?

the needles wont glow unless you paint them with some reactive paint. Then they will glow along with the gauges. I also like the look of that Hott Wirez stuff. Comes with plugins that can be adapted in. Of course the white gauge changeovers look great. Ahhh dreams...
