Intermittent Interior Blower Fan Issues
Had this problem since the Fall and cannot figure out wtf is wrong.
Basically I go to start the Jeep, and sometimes the blower fan doesnt kick on, there is no blockage because air does move through the vents, but I cant get the fan to turn on. Then it won't work for a few days or whatever, and then I'll go and start it and the blower will come on! Only twice while I have been driving has the fan turned on, all the other times that it has successfully turned on is when I start it. The fuses are fine, because it still randomly comes on and I havent replaced any fuses, nor is anything else on the circuit stopped working. I took off the dash, to see if the switch was fried, but the contacts still work. I tried to look at the blower behind/by the glove box, but to be honest not sure what I was expecting to see "wrong" everything seemed to be attached fine, nothing loose.
Any ideas, or anyone else have this problem?
Thank you

Loose or corroded wiring I'd bet..truck is 25 years old..sometimes everything "looks" okay..try pulling all the plugs and reseating them. Or my preferred method is to just bash the hell out of it, usually works.

How many times do think the fan switch, was turned on/off in 15 years. That's the first thing I would be checking. You can use a volt meter, to check it. Or use a wire to jump across it. (backside of switch) It easier to help you, if you fill in your profile, including pics. That way, people know if there dealing with a fairly nice condition vehicle, Or just a total pile of rust......(wasn't trying to be rude either)........JMO!
