Default jack points.

About to start installing a 4.5in lift doing front end first my jack only goes up to 16 inches and my jack stands are around the same maybe a little higher. Where is a good spot to jack and put the jack stands? I was thinking behind the Lower control arm but thought that might be a little too far back to stay stable? Anyone got some advice?

I use a floor jack on the axle and stands on the frame rail behind the control arm. Plus lots of blocks, i use 8" x 12" x 16" laminated beam chunks.

I jacked mine up by the axles, then put jack stands on the frame, removed the tires and let the axles hang. that gave me enough droop to install my left kit.
