Default Jasper engine vs powertrain engine for my 2001 jeep cherokee 4.0

I have been recently looking to put a remanufactured engine on my jeep. I ended up getting these two famous brands and not sure which one to put.
Please give suggestion.

WELOME to CF.

I can only speak to Jasper's and not for an XJ. I've got one in my '96 Blazer (4.3 Vortec). It's got just under 50K miles on it and operates great. Thing about any of these manufacturers is to make sure you can trust the installer. The first Jasper that was installed in the Blazer had slight noise that the installer wasn't happy about. He called Jasper and they had him run a few tests while they were on the phone. They shipped another motor out that afternoon.
