Default jeep 2.5 cherokee sport 2002

could anyone tell me were to find the cam timing plug in the bell housing, found the two for camshafts

Not only that, but the Sport trim level never came with the 2.5L . That engine came ONLY in the SE's.

you allready found them if its a dual cam motor

According to Wikipedia, the Liberty did have a 2.5L diesel engine too; I don't know anything about them, personally.

thanks all, not explained it too well what Im looking for, car is a jeep 2.5 diesel cherokee sport 2002 according to auto data cam belt timing is set with two pegs one into each cam shaft and another peg goes into the bell housing to lock the flywell, its the one into the bellhousing Im looking for as im struggling to find itgot a VM engine fitted

Well I have worked on the VM 2.8L that is in the "American" Liberty. And I know what you are talking about there is a threaded hole in the right side of the block that goes to a hole in the torque convertor drive plate/flexplate. The ones I have encountered there was alot of rust in the threads and it was very difficult to thread the special tool in. Hope this helps some!!
